The Graphic Designer will create visually compelling designs that support student recruitment and campus-wide marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for producing print and digital assets that align with the college’s brand standards and drive engagement across multiple channels. The Graphic Designer will collaborate closely with the Strategic Writer, Photographer/Videographer, and Digital Media Strategist to deliver high-quality creative for campaigns, social media, email, and web.
Print & Collateral (40%)
Design and maintain the admissions print suite, including:
Travel Piece (Viewbook) and associated flyers
Postcards and Mailers
Financial aid and Scholarship flyers
Acceptance Package
Ensure all print materials adhere to brand guidelines and are optimized for recruitment.
Create social media assets for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Design digital ads for paid campaigns (search, display, social).
Develop icons and visual storytelling assets for web and email.
Collaborate with Digital Media Strategist and Strategic Writer to design conversion-focused landing pages.
Ensure visual consistency across program pages and enrollment site.
Apply the Capture Once, Distribute Many (CODM) approach:
Transform hero assets (videos, photos) into social graphics, ads, and email visuals.
Maintain and update brand guidelines for typography, color, and imagery.
Provide design support for campus partners while prioritizing enrollment-driven projects.
Manage Brand Comply platform for licensed merchandise partners.
Requirements
Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
3 years of experience in graphic design for marketing or higher education.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to translate strategic goals into compelling visuals.
Collaboration: Works effectively with writers, videographers, and digital strategists.
Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy and consistency across all assets.
Time Management: Handles multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Other Requirements:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Experience designing for print and digital platforms.
Familiarity with social media formats, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
Successful portfolio demonstrating multi-channel design work
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a higher education or non-profit environment.

Compensation Pay Range:
